Experience

2024-Present

Translational Science Scientist

Kenvue

Helsingborg, Sweden

As a scientist, my focus is on bridging the gap between research and product development. I coordinate across interdisciplinary teams—including researchers, clinicians, regulatory experts, industry partners, and marketing—to ensure a seamless transition from scientific insight to product launch. A key part of my role is translating complex research findings into clear, actionable insights for scientists, brand developers, and marketing teams. This requires a deep understanding of each team’s objectives and workflows, allowing me to align scientific innovation with strategic goals and deliver impactful, consumer-ready products.

2023-2024

R&D Project Manager

Acorai AB

Stockholm, Sweden

I led research and development efforts focused on cardiac biomarkers, driving advancements in diagnostics and prognostics for heart failure conditions. In parallel, I contributed to the design and development of medical devices tailored for precision medicine, with a strong emphasis on innovation and patient-centric solutions. Leveraging my expertise in biocompatibility and risk assessment, I ensured strict compliance with regulatory standards—including MDR, BEP, BER, ISO, and US FDA regulations—in close collaboration with regulatory and product teams.

2023-2024

Grant Writer

Acorai AB

Stockholm, Sweden

I found grant writing highly rewarding and enjoyed the competitive aspect of securing funding. Through this experience, I developed strong skills in planning and writing successful grant applications.

2019-2023

Biomarkers Discovery

KTH Royal institute of Technology

Stockholm, Sweden

Biomarker discovery has been a cornerstone of my extensive experience during my PhD. I've actively participated in many collaborative projects, delving deeply into the exploration of biomarkers within autoimmune diseases. I possess a strong familiarity with both the process of biomarker discovery and development, as well as their crucial role in patient monitoring and the advancement of personalized medicine.

2019-2023

Application and Development of Protein Arrays

KTH Royal Institute of Technology

Stockholm, Sweden

Protein arrays represent a proteomics technology with which I am extensively acquainted. Through the analysis of thousands of autoantibodies using both planar and bead-based protein arrays, I have demonstrated proficiency in this area. Additionally, I have spearheaded the design, planning, and execution of intricate laboratory work, analysing hundreds of human samples. My expertise encompasses proficient sample handling of whole blood, serum, plasma and saliva.

2019-2023

Data Analysis by RStudio

KTH Royal Institute of Technology

Stockholm, Sweden

R Studio is one of my favourite software for data analysis and visualization. Proficient in handling diverse sets of multi-dimensional data, I employ my statistical skills and various packages to effectively wrangle and clean data before employing engaging visualization techniques to convey results graphically. Furthermore, I have acquired proficiency in data modelling techniques through my learning endeavours.

2020-2022

Serology Assay Development

KTH Royal Institute of Technology

Stockholm, Sweden

During the COVID-19 pandemic, I spearheaded the development of an assay designed to test SARS-CoV-2 in saliva. This initiative was undertaken as part of a collaborative effort within my Ph.D. program aimed at expanding our understanding of SARS-CoV-2 in saliva. Concurrently, I contributed to the group's efforts by assisting in the serology testing of healthcare personnel's blood in Sweden.

2018-2019

Internship

University of Milan

Milan, Italy

During my internship, I engaged with various technologies to explore protein functions. I gained hands-on experience in laboratory settings where I utilized cell culture, chromatography and spectroscopy techniques.

Education

2019-2023

Ph.D. in Biotechnology

KTH Royal Institute of Technology

Stockholm, Sweden

Throughout my doctoral studies, I engaged in research focused on autoantibody profiling within autoimmune diseases. My Ph.D. program was part of a consortium funded by the European Union, with a particular emphasis on extensive investigation into Vasculitis. This experience provided me with specialized knowledge in Affinity proteomics techniques, proficiency in data analysis, and effective scientific communication skills.

2016-2019

Master of Science in Molecular Biology of the Cells

University of Milan

Milan, Italy

As a graduate at University of Milan, I studied Molecular Biology of the Cells and gained a solid foundation in the principles of Molecular Biology and Biophysics. I also conducted research in a biochemistry lab where I learned laboratory techniques and data analysis.
